Represent Sri Lanka on invitation by the Australian Government- Department of Education and Training- in the Indian Ocean Rim Association−(IORA) Project for the development of transnational skills standards to support the maritime (port operations) sector in the Indian Ocean Rim. Event Chairman of the EASTS 2019, the 13th international conference of the Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies (EASTS) Japan, jointly organized by the Sri Lanka Society of Transport and Logistics (SLSTL).
National coordinator of the Maritime Silk Road Joint Academic Research Centre jointly operated by Dalian Maritime University, China and CINEC Campus Sri Lanka.

National Projects in Logistics and Maritime
Pioneered in making “Logistics” a part of the school curriculum in secondary level education in Sri Lanka through various initiatives such as Interschool Legists Quiz completion, Essay competition since 2014, and successfully achieved the goal in 2017.
Conducted many subject awareness programs for Advanced level teachers and students in schools to bridge the knowledge gap and to make the subject popular in the society.
Conducted a formal Capacity building workshop and training for trainer (ToT) program for university lecturers on Scientific Teaching.
Establish a statutory body to undertake logistics activities and amalgamate transport and logistics under one roof.
